Tell the NBA: Racist LA Clippers owner has to go!

“Do whatever is in your power to give Donald Sterling the maximum punishment allowable for his alleged racist and sexist rant. The NBA must take a stand and show that this type of hostility and disrespect towards racial minorities and women will not be tolerated.”

Why is this important?

The audio recording that allegedly features LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling on a racist and sexist rant -- telling his girlfriend that she can’t be seen with black people in public -- is appalling.

This is not the first time Sterling has been accused of such disgraceful prejudice and hostility. He has displayed repeated misogynistic behavior, and has been sued multiple times for racial discrimination. Meanwhile, the NBA continues to turn a blind eye and let the 80-year-old billionaire keep his esteemed position as a NBA team owner.

Enough is enough.
