Requires anyone who enters to run or takes public office is required take an oath to always tell the truth based on facts, when addressing the public in any form, media or be personally fined with a substantial financial penalty which would double with each additional lie told. Moneys would go to paying down the national debt.
Why is this important?
All US citizens are required to tell the truth when testifying in our legal courts. If we do not we are subject to punishment by the law. So why should the same rules not apply in the choosing of our soon to be law makers.
With all the constant lying that has taken place in our last elections. It has gotten to the point we can't trust any them to tell the truth. How can we have an honest government if they continue to lie to us whenever they like. Enough is enough.
