While San Francisco has banned the use of plastic bags, Trader Joe's continues to package many of its products in plastic. Trader Joe's is an otherwise progressive chain that sources its products from non-GMO ingredients, ensures its suppliers abide by human rights regulations, and keeps its prices affordable for lower-income customers. Kindly ask that they eliminate or reduce the use of plastic in their packaging.
