In order to reduce corruption, corporatism, cronyism, as well as partisan manipulation and control of government and legislation - a limit shall be placed on the terms of all congressmen and justices that serve the public. This should also continue to bring new ideas to the table, and restore trust and faith in this establishment.
Why is this important?
Given the current climate in congress and recent rulings by the supreme court - it has become apparent that term limits are required in order to alleviate corruption in all branches of government. The executive branch has term limits for the president - it would then only make sense that the legislative and judicial branches should, too. Then, and only then, would real people, who work real jobs, have a real say in how this country moves forward. Otherwise, we will continue to hand it over to corporate interests. The choice is yours.
