Term Limits for Congress

Limit Representatives to 4 consecutive terms (8 years) before they are required to skip a term. Limit Senators to 2 consecutive terms (12 years) before they are required to skip a term. During the required skipped term they can not run for the other house.

Why is this important?

Term Limits for Congress to prevent gridlock and get fresh ideas to solve problems. Long term service in Congress has taken representation away from the people because they are more worried about re-election than solving problems and making the other party look bad. The same reasoning behind Presidential term limits needs to be applied to them.
