We, the citizens of the United States of America do request that future members of the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Senate both be held to the limits of two consecutive terms in office. After said time said individual(s) must allow at least one term out of office before they could run for said office again. They must futher be restricted from running for the office of their opposite constituency, i.e. Congress member run for a Senate seat or a Senate member run for a Congress member seat. This effort would be to eliminate stagnancy in the House and Senate by said long term members. This referendum would be to lend a greater effort towards bringing in newer concepts and ideas to both Houses of Congress.
Why is this important?
We are asking the American public to vote on making a two term limit for all U.S. Congress members and U.S. Senators. The President and Vice President are both limited to two concurrent terms in office and must vacate the White House after a second term.
