America's elected officials spend 60 percent of thier time in office raising money for their next election rather than serving the public. With term limit legislation this cycle would be broken and America could return to its Democratic principles. The influence of the Very Rich would be diminished; the Voice of the People heard once again.
Why is this important?
Public Service within our Democratic Process was never intended to become a lifetime career beholden to the fat cats who keep returning them to office. Never before in American History has the need for Term Limit legislation been more obvious. Let Grassroots America take back Democracy.
