To: The United States House of Representatives and The United States Senate

Terms for Congress and Senate. Not Careers.

It has become very clear, especially over the past year, that the Congress and Senate are no longer taking the best interest of the people into consideration.

This is totally unacceptable behavior and this past year they have stopped even making an effort to hide their actions. I see no justification to entitle their position in government to deserve higher standard treatment, than that of the highest positioned elected offical, the President of the United States.

Therefore, an elected member of the United States Congress or Senate should be subject to following the same or less standard of terms in office as set forth for the highest elected executive office held in these United States, the office of President.

I offer this petition, to put into law, that the office held by an elected official of Congress or Senate serve a term in office of four years. Upon the completion of the four year term, this elected official may seek to run for only one more consecutive term of four years for the maximum of eight consecutive years allowed in office.

This individual, may not at anytime, have the option to seek office in Congress or Senate at anytime once serving a minimum term of four consectutive years and leaving office due to any circumstance. They may not run again, even as a Representive of any other State. This law is based entirely and exclusively on the individual as an office holder. Once their term has been exhausted. By law, they may not as an individual, seek office in Congress or Senate under any agenda.

Why is this important?

The only way that I see the people of the United States getting the Country back is to stop the Congress and Senate from being a Career.
