Texans Demand Immigration Reform

When it comes to immigration reform, the U.S. stands at a historic crossroads. Business as usual is no longer viable as our broken immigration system is tearing families apart, draining our pocketbooks, and undermining our security.

To fix it, we need a Texas-sized solution and we call on our Senior Senator, John Cornyn, to get to work on a bill that provides a fair and fast pathway to citizenship for 11 million undocumented Americans. We need a bill that will infuse immigration enforcement with the core American values of accountability, transparency, and fiscal responsibility. We need a system where the workers who strengthen our industries can come to the U.S. with rights and dignity. We need a rational solution to securing the border that focuses our precious resources on the real threats to security while prioritizing the vital arteries of economic growth at our ports of entry.
