On Monday, July 21, President Obama signed an executive order banning discrimination against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender workers by federal contractors. Thank you, Mr. President!
Why is this important?
Following the "Hobby Lobby" decision by the U.S. Supreme Court, the President did not include any religious exemptions in his executive order! Now, untold thousands of LGBT workers will be protected from discrimination!
