The GI Bill is mine, along with every other military member. I earned it, I shouldn't have to pay it back if I drop a class or fail. There needs to be other consequences, not taking more money out of the pockets of our veterans, disabled military, and our low-paying military.
Why is this important?
Every military member who spends more than 90 days on active duty gets a GI BILL whether it be the Montgomery or Post 9-11. If we fail a class or drop it, we have to pay that money back, but that money is ours. We fought for this country and earned it. I've personally experienced this. We need to fight more for our military who are the ones fighting for this country.
