The Good Samaritan State

"(A) priest was going down that road, saw him, and passed by on the other side. So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, when he saw him, he was moved with pity. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn and took care of him. Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers?" He said, "The one who showed him mercy." Jesus said to him, "You go then, and do the same."
Luke 10:31-37

The most famous parable of the Gospels tells us clearly how we should react to the Syrian refugee crisis. We call on Gov. Rauner and our legislature to extend a welcoming hand to the desperate victims of civil war and terrorism, regardless of race, creed, or color.

Why is this important?

Because I care.
