Isn't it time to pull away from the notion of GDP as being" the measure" of a healthy society, country, and economy? Let's do away with GDP as the primary measure of the health and economy of our nation. GDP works for the upper 1%. But for the other 99% of the population, using this measure it has been a disservice. It does not express the true nature, health and well being of a nation.
Why is this important?
This is about the reality on the ground and not the 1% of people that manipulate all the workings in this "democracy. The sooner we state the true nature of our social, economic, and national problem the quicker we will address inequality and justice and return to democracy.
