The tech boom is leaving all of us who are "support" workers in the dust. We can't afford to live here even with both wage-earners working - we need four full-time minimum wage jobs just to barely exist. Raise the California minimum wage to $15 per hour immediately!
Why is this important?
I and many of my friends were laid off in the Great Recession and have not been able to get our good-paying jobs back since most were sent overseas to feed corporate profit/greed. Pretty soon all the high tech people will have no fast-food workers or security guards left to serve them.
