We call on President Obama to direct the Justice Department to take prompt action to protect our sacred Constitutional right to participate in our government, because disenfranchising voters for partisan reasons is an attack on the very heart of democracy.
Why is this important?
The efforts presently underway in a number of states to disenfranchise selected categories of voters, particularly minorities and the elderly are morally wrong and should be illegal.
