According to various news reports, several companies and CEOs are threatening thousands of jobs if their employees do not vote for the candidate they agree with. This is not only questionable corporate practice but a violation of freedom of speech.
Some of these companies rely on clientele, such as David Siegel, CEO of the timeshare company Westgate Resorts. As a frequent traveler and potential client of Westgate Resorts, I am writing this petition to David Siegel, stating that he will lose my business and the business of many others if he does not retract his statement that not only threatens his employee's job security if they do not vote for Mitt Romney, it threatens their right to freedom of speech.

On Monday, October, 8, 2012 David Siegel sent an e-mail to all 7,000 employees of privately-held Westgate Resorts, many of them in the battleground state of Florida, warning them their jobs are at risk if the president is re-elected.

On a conference call with several business leaders, Mitt Romney said "I hope you make it very clear to your employees what you believe is in the best interest of your enterprise and therefore their job and their future in the upcoming elections,"
