The proposed Student Loan Forgiveness Act (H.R. 4170) would restructure the inflexible Private Student Loan (PSL) repayment system, allowing borrowers the same opportunities Federal student loans have; Income-based repayment (IBR), Income contingent repayment (ICR), graduated repayment, extended repayment and forgiveness options.
PSL borrowers and their cosigners, family members, deal with inflexible, hostile loan companies, with variable interest rates that accrue interest daily. Write your House of Representative today! Help our young Americans have a future!

Why is this important?
Many young Americans are coming out of college and cannot find adequate paying jobs to pay their loans at the PSL set payment levels. These harsh loans accrue interest daily and have variable interest rates ready to rise higher once our economy fully recovers, leaving our children permanently in debt with no future.
