We are earnestly petitioning you to take IMMEDIATE action to employ some common sense Gun Safety Laws in this country with consideration to:
* Valid government issued identification when applying for licensure and PURCHASING firearms.
* Mandatory PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE TESTING prior to the issue of any license for a firearm.
* Mandatory completion of a gun safety class prior to the issue of any license for a firearm.
*Mandatory cease and desist of the selling of all firearms, and like kind on the internet.
* Stricter laws for retailers of firearms with the stipulation of accessory if compliance fails.
* Limitations on the number of firearms any individual can own.
* Limitations on the type of firearms any individual can own.
Why is this important?
Friday’s school massacre in Connecticut is a national tragedy. It marks the 19th mass shooting in our country within the past 5 years and 31st school shooting since Columbine in 1999!
This is no longer an "Isolated Incident", it's a Public Health Issue!
