818RESOLVE is a new collective in the San Fernando Valley. We are petitioning the community & City of LA to erect a NEW statue at Brand Park- one that accurately represents the indigenous history of the area.
Why is this important?
Representation is important!
Our community is made of First Nation, Mexican Indigenous and immigrant populations. As such, we desire to see our historical leaders memorialized in our neighborhoods, too.
