Time for President Obama to grant temporary protection by executive deferred action, to all eligible immigrants due to the blatant refusal by the republican-controlled Congress to act on immigration reform.
Why is this important?
Given the GOP's intransigence and refusal to act on immigration reform, unless President Obama exercises his executive authority to protect and begin a legalization process, the 11 million undocumented immigrants will continue to face family separation and massive deportations that already exceed 2 million under his 5-year administration, notwithstanding that they contribute significantly to the U.S. economy, tax-base and the workforce.
