Time to get a new Senate Majority Leader

Inasmuch as Senator Reid as the Majority has proven he can't control his caucus he should resign and let the Senate choose someone who places the county's interest and what the majority of the country wants over catering to Blue Dog Democrats. He has said he was wrong not to change the filibuster rules and yet just did the same thing. The argument that someday the Democrats may become a minority and therefore would want the benefit of the tail wagging the dog filibuster rules is a specious argument. If the Republicans should get 51 seats does anyone seriously believe that they would not change the rules to allow for 51 votes to pass matters. This is the same Republican party that is trying to change how electoral votes are counted so as to nullify the majority, the same group that tried to limit the right to vote by their restrictive voter registration laws, the same group that has systematically enacted legislature that would weaken the Democrat's core constituencies - unions, minority groups, the young voters among others?. It is time for Senator Reid to resign.
