We, the American people, want an independent, bipartisan commission established to investigate the connections between the Trump administration and Russia. We have a right to know and want the hearings made public, not behind closed doors. You work for us, the American people. Do your job!
Why is this important?
The connection between Russia and Trump must be investigated thoroughly and in an independent fashion. Hearings should be made public so the American people can fully engage with the issue and understand for ourselves - not filtered through a political lens. This issue goes to the heart of our democracy. The interests of the country need to be put above the interests of politicians. Deadline: this week of 2/15/17 because the GOP is trying to keep the investigation behind closed doors and a decision will be made soon. A large number of signatures will hopefully encourage them to act otherwise.
