[To my local newspaper]: Don't Publish Climate Denial

The LA Times has adopted a policy of refusing to publish letters that deny climate change. People are entitled to their opinion but not to their own facts. End climate change denial in your newspaper. The facts of climate change are hard to ignore. Ask the folks in Sandy Hook, Philippines, Missouri, New Orleans. If you have empathy for humans suffering the first impacts of climate change, you will decide to stop giving valuable space to climate change deniers who do not accept science or facts. As global weather intensity increases, these folks will be proven wrong but the death of thousands will ultimately be on their hands.
