CONGRESSIONAL BENEFITS ,are ENTITLEMENTS: AKA free healthcare, outrageous retirement packages, 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days, NOW THAT'S WELFARE .
Our Social Security Was paid for in CASH with 15% deductions from our salaries. Our employers also paid 15%.
IT IS a TRUST FUND. CONGRESS HAS NO RIGHTS TO THOSE FUNDS. AND WE WANT THEM TO PAY THOSE FUNDS BACK , WITH INTEREST. WE ARE YOUR LARGEST CREDITORS. YOU OWE US THOSE FUNDS.
I think ALL SENIORS should take notice! Any person in Washington referring to SS and Medicare as an Entitlement, make sure you do not vote for them again, NO MATTER WHICH PART. This is not a political program. It is a private TRUST FUND MANAGED BY GOVERNMENT. ANY MONIES YOU HAVE TO
PAY INTO SOCIAL SECURITY CAN BE DEDUCTED FROM THE BILLIONS OWED.
We ask that you repay ALL THE TRUST FUNDS with INTEREST to secure that all who contributed will have an INDEPENDENT RETIREMENT as it was intended.
Why is this important?
We are trying to draw attention to Social Security and the fact that it IS A TRUST FUND and NOT AN ENTITLEMENT. They need to reimburse the Trust Fund all the monies they have withdrawn to balance budgets in the past by both political parties.
