Right now in Pennsylvania one has to be suicidal in order to enter in patient psychiatric treatment. Suicides would be prevented if patients would be treated inpatient before they consider killing themselves.
Why is this important?
Consult suicidology.org and afps.org. I have had thoughts of killing myself which, fortunately, I got out of by myself. But what if someone doesn't?
