To Speaker John Boehner: Bring ENDA up for a vote in the House. No one should be fired because of...

The U.S. Senate has passed the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, taking one more step toward full equality for our LGBT family, friends, and neighbors. Speaker Boehner, it's time to schedule a vote on the floor of the House.

Why is this important?

It’s hard to believe, but under federal law, it’s still legal to fire someone because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Making history, the U.S. Senate has now passed the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) on a strong bipartisan vote.

It's time for the U.S. House to join the Senate, and protect every American worker by finally passing ENDA. No one should lose their job because of who they love. Bring the bill up for a vote, Speaker Boehner.
