I call upon each Elector to put forward a person - any person - who is qualified by character, ability and experience to lead our great country in healing its divisions and promoting the common good. Your Constitutional duty, under Article II Section 1 and the 12th Amendment, as spelled out by Alexander Hamilton in Federalist #68, takes precedence over any pledge made to a political party.
