Tougher Penalties for those who harm service dogs

Last month in Florida, a woman threw bleach in the eyes of a service dog at a Publix grocery store because her fear of dogs. She may as well have throw bleach into the eyes of a seeing person. Though the dog was unharmed, this unfortunate incident is not isolated. There have been other instances across the country where people have knowingly hurt service dogs. Service dogs should receive the same protection that police dogs do.

Let your representatives and governor know, this kind of behavior will be tolerated.
