The Town of Whitehall is trying to pass and ordinance to "exterminate" lost or missing animals with out giving an honest try to find the owners
Why is this important?
This petition is to change the ordinance title 8 "animals". before is becomes official. This ordinance, as is, will provide for the unnecessary and wanton destruction of dogs and other animals in the Town of Whitehall without due process and without any valid attempt to find the owner or someone to care for the animal until the owner can be found.
