Extend Temporary Protected Status for Haitians. They deserve to stay in the U.S. They are hard working immigrants and support many people in their country of origin. Conditions after a massive earthquake, a cholera epidemic, and a major hurricane do not bode well for their country reintegrating them. U.S. employers need them here. Their relatives need them here.
Why is this important?
I have worked with many Haitians over many years. They deserve a break.
