Require tracking devices on guns that can be seen by satellite. When gun owners leave their house with their guns, they must submit a location on a map of where the gun will be heading, and a reason explaining why, on a government/local website funded through taxes on purchasing guns and ammunition. If there is no submission and the gun leaves the location, authorities will have the right to confiscate the weapon and arrest the individual.
Why is this important?
I go to UCSB, where 6 students were murdered by a man with registered weapons. If the government can track guns, they may be able to put a stop to school shootings, among other crimes and tragedies. No one should have the right to secretly go into any area and kill random people. #notonemore #weallhaverights #guntracking . Lastly, the government does not have to control the site, it could be controlled by the people who make the guns.
