Currently doctors don't treat Transsexual patients effectively. This is intentional and discrimination. WPATH has published an international standard of care (version 7) that if implemented would treat the medical condition of Transsexuality effectively. One in 500 people are transsexual (possible more) and most of those people suffer because they are under treated. I would like there to be laws written to make it to where doctors can't discriminant against patients. Right now transsexual men and woman are jumping through hoops just to maybe get treatment: this is wrong.
Why is this important?
Petition for a federal law to make a policy on the medical treatment of transsexuals. I would want these laws to follow the international Standard of Care version 7 (
