Treat Registered Nurses at Tacoma General Hospital Fairly

Victory! The creator of this petition declared the campaign a success. You can still sign the petition to show support.

We, the Registered Nurses at Tacoma General Hospital, herein petition CEO Diane Cecchettini and the Board of Directors to assist and support your Tacoma General Registered Nurses in obtaining, through our collective bargaining process, fair and reasonable working conditions and terms.

We, the Registered Nurses at Tacoma General Hospital, are professional employees who, with integrity and medical expertise, provide excellent patient medical care to the Tacoma and Pierce County communities. Tacoma General currently enjoys high respect within our community--due in large part to the knowledge, commitment, and expertise of your Registered Nurses. It is we, your registered nurses, who lead the care of patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We care for your families, we care for our own families, and we care for the families of our community. We are the ones who assure and maintain patient satisfaction, patient recovery, and patient support. Future revenue is contingent on our expertise. We are revenue PRODUCERS--we are not COSTS.

We, the undersigned, therefore, strongly urge Tacoma General Hospital Management to show respect to the Registered Nurses by negotiating fair, competitive and respectful wages, working conditions and benefits--including our defined benefit plan.

Why is this important?

The management at Tacoma General Hospital should negotiate fair, competitive, and respectful wages, working conditions, and benefits for the registered nurses who work there.
