Retired military personnel and their families should not be forced out of their health care plan because of where they live. Effective Sep 2013, they will no longer be eligible for Tricare Prime unless they live close to a military base. This will force many retirees in rural and perhaps economically depressed areas to find other more expensive coverage. Stop trying to save money on the backs of those that risked their lives defending this country.
Why is this important?
My husband served 22 years and is about to lose his Tricare Prime benefits because of where we live. People already on the plan should be grandfathered.
