Trump Must Tell his Base the Pandemic is Real
Urge President Trump to tweet his followers how serious the COVID-19 pandemic is. His followers, including his base, must understand that it is critical that everybody in our nation must follow the instructions that the CDC and WHO are publishing. Only if all Americans comply with these practices will this pandemic end.
Why is this important?
It’s important because the only source of news to Trump’s supporters, especially his base, is his daily tweets. They still think the pandemic is a hoax because Trump tweeted it and played down its severity until this week. They demonstrate this across the nation by continuing to live their lives as usual
