President Trump has proved himself to be a serial liar and there is an ongoing investigation into his and his campaign’s possible conspiracy with Russia to influence our last presidential election. He has repeatedly claimed that Putin says there was no Russian involvement in the election even though there is clear intelligence evidence that there was. We also know that Russia has plans to interfere in our mid-term elections. Trump cannot be trusted and should not be allowed to meet in private with Putin before our mid-term elections.
Why is this important?
I do not trust that Trump will not do whatever he thinks he needs to do to win the mid-terms, including conspiring with Russia to interfere. Until his innocence is demonstrated, he must not be allowed to meet alone and off the record with Putin.
