Let's petition the press to blackout every single Trump tweet for an entire week. Radio silence. No response. No coverage.
Why is this important?
Every day we are subjected to Trump's Twitter rants. As he taps away on his smart phone in the wee hours of the morning, certain that he can distract from the truly important issues that confront us, the media amplify his messages over and over again, thereby fulfilling his maniacal need to divert attention away from his corrupt, destructive agenda.
What if for one entire week, the mainstream media (CNN, WSJ, NYT, WaPO, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, BBC, NPR) ignored his tweets? No coverage at all for seven full days. Instead, the media focuses on the substantial news coming out of DC, essentially sending the message to Trump that he cannot control the news cycle of the day.
