Truth & Federal Employees
Every member of Congress is a federal employee who receives a federal pay check. Most other federal employees who have a security clearance of any kind must tell the truth at all times on the job as they accomplish their duties. If a federal employee is ever caught telling lies of any kind in the accom-plishment of their duties they can be removed from their position and let go. That includes federal police officers. We should hold Congress to the same standard as any other federal employee, and when they lie to us, they should lose any clearance they might have and be removed from their federal job.
Why is this important?
Congress is required by law and statute to tell the truth, and many times it appears that they do not tell the truth, and nothing adverse ever happens to them when they tell obvious lies.
