Prevent lies, deception, cover-ups, and distortions of the truth in every level of government in the United States of America by making such actions a legally punishable offense. Tell a lie from a position of authority - go to jail.
Why is this important?
Since it against the law to lie to or mislead police officers, judges, and congress, it should also be against the law to lie to, or mislead the people they serve. Please hold our public servants to the same standard they hold us to - it should be a punishable crime to knowingly lie to the American people. We the people deserve honest leadership.
