We are all tired of political ads, but the negative, untruthful ones have got to stop. Sign this petition if you would like to put an end to these lies and false attacks. We are calling for a change in political advertising. We want all ads to be cleared by a fact checking team before they are allowed to be aired on television or go to press. We want the truth and expect that from our elected officials.
Why is this important?
All campaign ads, especially the ones on television, should only be allowed to air, if they are truthful. There should be a clearinghouse for all ads, with a fact checking team, to make sure all claims are truthful, before they go to print, online or on television.
