Dear Tucson City Council,
Sane, commonsense gun safety laws can help make Tucson a safer city. Please vote FOR the measure to end gun sales without background checks at the TCC.
Why is this important?
As you may know, our city councillor, Steve Kozachik, has recently taken the position that gun shows, which sell guns without background checks, shouldn't be permitted on city owned property. Here's a quote: “Continuing to allow person-to-person gun sales without the requirement of any background checks is a clear threat to the health and safety of the community. If any place has a right to be sensitive about that, Tucson does,” Kozachik said.
This is the kind of leadership we need more of, and we need to show our leaders that we support them!
