Two Term Limit For Congress Constitutional Amendment

No person shall be elected to the offices of being a member of the U.S. House of Representives or the U.S. Senate more than twice. The two terms include those served in one house of Congress or the combination of one term in the House of Representatives and one term in the Senate. Additionally, if a member is appointed to serve the remainder of a previous member's term, that portion, if longer than one year, shall be counted as one term.
Further, former members of Congress shall not be eligible for and shall not hold a position as a lobbyist or be eligible for any position of federal employment except those of president, vice president, or as a presidential cabinet member at any time during the next ten consecutive years.

Why is this important?

It is very apparent that the ability for members of Congress to serve multiple and consecutive terms has proven not to be beneficial for the American people. Many of them today use this ability for their personal financial and political party gain instead of being representatives of the majority of the people. Therefore, I firmly believe it's time for a change. A two consecutive term limit seems to work very well for the office of president. Why not apply this same condition to members of Congress?
