The U. S. Senate is overdue seating its second professional comedian, and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley can rectify the situation by appointing Stephen Colbert to the state's vacant Senate seat. With the GOP on the ropes, we need one of our own to take on the likes of the Democrats' Al Franken.
