UNITED STATES HISTORY
INCLUDE BLACK HISTORY IN OUR SCHOOLS BY COMBINING IT WITH US HISTORY. THERE WERE BLACK PEOPLE HERE WHEN COLUMBUS CAME TO THIS COUNTRY...
Why is this important?
I WAS BORN IN 1934. HISTORY WAS UNKIND TO ME AT THAT TIME AND IT STILL IS. THE SCHOOLS I ATTENDED WERE TAUGHT BY TEACHERS WHO HAD VERY LITTLE EDUCATION . THEIR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS WAS THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN. THE HISTORY BOOKS WE UTILIZED WERE USED BY THE WHITE SCHOOLS FIRST AND HAD PAGES PURPOSELY TORN OUT. THE ONE MONTH A YEAR OF BLACK HISTORY IS NOT ENOUGH. THERE WERE BLACK PEOPLE HERE BEFORE COLUMBUS CAME..WE NEED THIS ISSUE FIXED TO SAVE THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM.AND REMOVE THE INFERIORITY COMPLEX FROM OUR CHILDREN"S VIEW.
