Now that the Republican healthcare plan in the Senate has been defeated it's time for Democrats to propose a Universal healthcare plan based on the best provisions of Medicare and the Affordable Care Act.

Moderate Democrats have long said that Obamacare should be improved, not repealed. The American public increasingly supports the Progressive position that healthcare is a right and Americans need a healthcare plan that provides universal coverage.
It's time for Democrats to lead. It's time for universal coverage. And it's time for the Democratic party to get it's act together. Our success requires that Democrats put aside their differences and unify around our common goals.
