Require all US utilities to allow solar rooftop residential grid connection with universal and simple rules. Utilities must also agree to buy excess power at at least same rate the customer is charged for power (net-metering) or above market rates (Feed-in-tariff).
Why is this important?
All residents of the US should be allowed to generate their own solar power and sell it back to utilities. Universal access and net-metering would not increase utility bills and would likely lower them over time.
