Up With Desalination

With rising oceans and damaging droughts it has become necessary for us to build more desalination systems along the coast. Then by utilizing the science of reverse osmosis we could pump potable water inland. At least brackish water could be used for irrigation as in Asia where shrimp are grown in the same water as some strains of rice. The technology is here let's use it.

Why is this important?

My community has suffered through one dry season after another while in other parts of the country there are floods and heavy snows. Our government leaders should be trying to solve the problems brought on by the drought by using technology at hand.
