There is a refugee crisis happening right now and the U.S. needs to show leadership and kindness by accepting these refugees from Syria and elsewhere. Germany is accepting 800,000 refugees while we are only accepting in the few thousands. We have the wealth to do it, so let's do it!
Why is this important?
I think we're all disturbed by the danger people are undertaking on their journeys to Europe and the amount of deaths we have witnessed is heartbreaking. And now, seeing images of dead children washing ashore is unacceptable and has convinced me that we need to do something to help.
