Require all companys and corporations in the United States and doing business in the United States to have a person answer their phone, and the person should be a citizen of the United States, and reside in the United States.
No calls may be answered outside of the United States for any purpose. Foreign companies must have a United States office with United States citizens answering the telephone.
Why is this important?
There are many unemployed people in the United States. When you call a company these days a computer answers instead of a person. If you don't know who to contact it is very frustrating.
Computer answering should be banned, all companies should be required to have a person answer the phone who is a resident of the United States and a citizen of the United States.
