Why is this important?
This petition is about empowering the middle class and poor, giving them a voice and making sure our tax system is way more fair than it is now. I want to see this country embrace its people the way it did in the 3 decades after WWII when there was never a top tax rate below 70%. In this period we built the largest middle class in the history of the U.S by investing in all areas of the economy that helped the middle class and poor.
